The 7-day safari in Tanzania ushers you to the top destinations in the Northern circuit including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Park. Expect to enjoy 6-nights and 7 days of exploring wonders across the 4 key tourist sites in the Tanzania tourist circuit. The focus will be to explore different species of wildlife including cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and more. Depending on the month of the year, you may also get a chance to observe the Great Migration in the Serengeti National Park. The full-week excursion in Tanzania will begin and end in Arusha.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Tarangire, Game drive

Expect to set off from Arusha to Tarangire National Park in a 4×4 tourist vehicle. With an experienced expert present, you will have great fun on your road trip as he showcases you the different attractions or sites that make Tanzania an amazing destination.

Tarangire National Park is where you stand a chance to encounter plenty of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, and gerenuk, etc. A lot of these interesting species will be encountered during the afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and after, you will be picked up by the safari guide at your respective lodges. You will exit with a game drive as you head to Lake Manyara National Park –home to the tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and hundreds of bird species including the pink flamingos. At Lake Manyara, expect to embark on the game drive to see diversity of the wild animals that live here.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti

At leisure, enjoy your breakfast and after, proceed to Serengeti National Park. Getting to Serengeti may take you about 4-5 hours. Serengeti is a World Heritage Site and is also a destination with all the Big 5 game.

Day 4: Full-day trip in Serengeti

A full-day will be dedicated for you to be part of the unforgettable wilderness experience in Serengeti National Park. Along the savanna plains of Serengeti, expect to sight diversity of wildlife including zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, and others.

Serengeti is a perfect place in Tanzania to visit for you to witness the Great migration (this is around July to September). Today’s extensive game viewing session will include a lunch break in the wild and after, you will get back to the safari lodge to relax.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Enjoy a hefty breakfast early morning and after, you will head to Ngorongoro. Expect to reach Ngorongoro early enough then proceed to check in your respective accommodation facilities. Lunch will be provided once you have settled at the lodge and late in the afternoon, you will have a game drive.

The game drive through the Ngorongoro gets you exposed to diversity of wildlife including the black rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, elephants, impalas, gazelles, giraffes, leopards, and many bird species.

Day 6: Full-Day in Ngorongoro Crater

The morning game drive allows you to catch up with the early morning risers in the wild and you will sum up the day with the afternoon session. Wildlife to see in Ngorongoro Crater/Conservation Area include the Big 5, zebras, wildebeest, black rhinos, and many antelopes.
