Day 2: Enjoy a Full-day in Masai Mara with an expert.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 5: Departure for Nairobi city.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up & Transfer to Masai Mara by car.

Early in the morning, expect to meet and greet your Kenya safari expert at the hotel facility or particular pick up point. Today, you will be transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve in Narok County, southwestern Kenya. The Maasai Mara marks the first destination for you to visit as per your itinerary. You will get at the reserve early following the 5-6 hours’ drive journey in a 4×4 safari vehicle.

En route to Maasai Mara, expect to enjoy the spectacular landscapes in the countryside including the Rift Valley escarpments. Then when you arrive, you will check in and be provided with a delicious lunch. After lunch and relaxation, you will take a walk around your accommodation.

Day 2: Enjoy a Full-day in Masai Mara with an expert.

After a heavy breakfast, expect to be picked up by an expert and today, you will set off with packed lunch. It will be a full day wildlife excursion through the wilderness of Maasai Mara. You will be searching for the Big 5 game; buffaloes, elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hartebeests, warthogs, and many bird species.

Your driver guide will find a strategic location for you to have a picnic lunch where you can be spotting some animals as they roam. After the lunch break, continue with the afternoon game drive to search for more wild animals in the Maasai Mara Reserve. You will be driven back to your accommodation for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha.

Enjoy a heavy breakfast at the comfort of your lodge and after, meet the driver guide. Today, you will be transferring from the Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha which is about 5-6 hour away. The scenic Lake Naivasha is 139 sq. km and is home to more than 400 species of birds, plus numerous mammal species.

Arrive early at Lake Naivasha for you to check in the lodge and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will take an enriching boat ride. The boat/canoe ride on Lake Naivasha allows you to look for numerous birds including pelicans, great cormorants, kingfishers, plus hippos, etc. Expect to return to your respective accommodation in the evening to enjoy dinner and later retire for a night.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Check out of your respective lodges or camps and today, you will be connecting up to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Southern region of Nakuru. Lake Nakuru alone covers 45 sq. km and is where a huge profusion of birds reside including pelicans, pink flamingos, herons, and more. Lake Nakuru National Park itself protects diversity of wildlife including the southern white rhinos, black rhinos, warthogs, and others.

On arrival at the park, you will be expected to check in your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on the guided game drive with an expert. During the game drive, expect to come across myriad of wildlife such as rhinos, zebras, elands, waterbucks, and warthogs, etc.

Day 5: Departure for Nairobi city
