This is Uganda’s national park found in the western part of the country in the Albertine great rift valley. It measures around 764sq mi, and was established in 1952 as Kazinga National Park. This is after the visit of the queen of England thus, in 1954 changed from Kazinga National Park to Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate her. The park is shared by the districts of Kasese, kamwenge, Rubirizi, and Rukungiri. This park shares the kyambura and kigezi game reserves while adjoining Immaramagambo, extending to Kibale Forest National Park in the northern side, Rwenzori National Park that is adjacent, ishasha sector to Virunga National Park in congo in the southern part of the country.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is rich in biodiversity, having or harboring around 95 species of animals and over 600 species of birds. Some of the animals include civet cats, golden cats, civet, cerval cats, lions, leopards, heyners, jacals, buffaloes, elephants, kobs, bush backs, water backs, warthogs, bush pigs, forest hogs, adverks, pangolins, pochpines, hyraxes, hippos, squirrels, and many others. Among the birds it includes, the black headed gonoleks, yellow vented bulbul, papyrus gonolek, black headed herons, gulls, yellow billed storks, saddle billed storks, tchagras, different types of weavers, Namaqua dove, red eyed dove, ring nacked dove, scaly frankolin, helmeted guinea fowls, marabou stork, gray crowned crane, cattle egrets, little egrets, goliath herons, black crake, African wattled lapwings, Egyptian goose,starlings, pine tail wayders, bare faced go away bird, oriolies, lapped faced vultures, hooded vulture, white shouldered vulture, long tail starling and many others.

It also include anumber od primates like the chimpanzees, vervet monkeys, baboons, red colobus monkey, black and white colobus monkeys, le’hoest monkeys and many other species.

Kyambura game reserve

This was formed as a huntimg ground in 1962. And later in 1965 it was upgraded to a game reserve this place habours a lot of wildlife kbut it’s the only place you can do chimpanzee tracking in the whole of queen elizabeth. This gorge is an area sank down, having a river in it and a tropical rain forest in the savannah area.

Kasyoha kitomi forest reserve

This is one of ugandas forest reserve, located near or adjancent queen elizabeth national park. It s located in Rubirizi district, Bushenyi,ibanda,kamwenge and part of it is shared by buhwezu district. The forest is reported to be rich in birds that amounts to 308 . 276 birds have been reported to be endemic snd of which the white naped pigeon ams gre parrot are regarded to be near threatened.  The other species include the cinnamon-chested bee eater, shelly’s greenbul, mountain illadopsis, afep pigeon, dusky long tailed cuckoo, and many more forest birds. The forest also has many animals like the forest elephants, African cape buffaloes, northern musk swamp shrews, duikers, different types of squirrels, chimpanzee, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkey, red colobus monkey, vervet monkeys, l’hoest’s monkeys and olive baboons. It also rich in biodiversity like different types of plants and trees, butterflies, snakes, moths, reptiles, as well as many waterfalls and beautiful crater lakes

Immaramagambo forest reserve

Immaramagambo forest reserve is one of the existing rich in biodiversity forest. It is located in busnyi district and Rubirizi district. This tropical rain forest is jointly managed by queen Uganda wildlife authority as it stretches in queen elizabeth national park and uganda forestry authority. The forest is well known for its rich in tropical bird life and chimpanzee tracking in Uganda. It also has many animals like forest elephants, African cape buffaloes, hippos that inhabit major lakes of nyamusingiri and kyasanduka craters, baboon, l’hoest monkeys, red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys and many more. It also has a lot of biodiversity like the moths, butterflies, flowers/plants, repiles like snakes, geckos, skinks, numerous agama lizards and many more.

3 Days Queen Elizabeth Game & Nature Safari

Day 1, according to your arrival pick up, ascend to the south western Uganda after breakfast. Here you will be able to have a stop over at the equator, take photo, and have equator experience, later proceed and stop at Mbarara restaurant /agip motel and have lunch. After lunch you will proceed to the beauitiful highlands of igara tea plantations that cover the rolling hills, see the beautfull sceneries of Rubirizi graters. Have a chance to see lake that map of Africa lake, pot lake, twin lake of katinda and mirambi, and many more. Reach at our hotel in the evening, have dinner and overnight. Stay at enganzi lodge, twin lake safari lodge, park view lodge, elephant plan safari lodge.

Day 2, after an early breakfast at our lodge, our guide will take you deep in the park to look for animals like the African cape buffaloes, African elephants, kobs, warthogs, waterbacks, bush backs, lions, leopardrs, jacals, hyeners and many more animals . you also expect to see birds like the slender billed weavers, black headed weaver, black headed heron, goliath heron, African pied kingfisher, cattleegretes, little egrets, black headed gonolek, pin tailed wydah, black crake and many more bird species.

Come back for lunch and after lunch, we have a boat ride cruise in the park. Here you will expect to see many animals mentioned above that come to drink water. See animals also like the hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards and many more water birds like the African fish eagles, marsh sand piper, black winged stilt, ovacets, gulls, African water thickness, Egyptian goose, pied king fishers, squacal heron, little egrets, yellow billed storks, and many others.

Come back at hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 3, transfer back to kampala through fort portal city, this rout will allow you enjoy the beautiful scenery, mountains of the moon, agricultural tee estates.

4 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife & Nature Safari

Day 1, depending on your area of location you will be mate by our company representative who will brief you about the tour and later take you for your tour right to the western part of the country. Passing through the green lushes of mubende- fort portal region. Through the big tea estates, learn about the tea, and later proceed to the our lodge in fortportal town where we going to spend a night.

Dinner and overnight at koi koi

Day 2, after breakfast at your lodge, transfer to Amabere Ganyina Mwiru, where you will get a historical back ground about the Fort Portal Kingdom as well as the geographical history about the area. This will give you a chance to learn about the batooro/tooro kingdom as well as why this area was called and named the mabeere ga nyinamwiiru/breasts of the mother of mwiiru.

After we shall proceed to sempaya hot spring. This is found in Semuliki Valley National Park. Here we get a chance to enjoy both female and male hot springs. Later, we proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stay at Enganzi Safari lodge, park view or twin lake safari lodge

Day 3, have a game drive early morning after breakfast. Here you will get a chance to see animals like the African cape buffaloes, african elephants, water backs, warthogs, water backs, kobs, lions, leopards, bushbacks, bush pigs, as well as many other bird species

Come back for lunch and after we will proceed for the boat ride on the kazinga channel. This channel connects the two lake of Lake Edward and Lake Gorge and has a lot of animals that come to drink water. We expect to see animals like the hippos, crocodiles, mornitor lizards, and many other water birds.

Come back at our lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4, travel back to the Kampala/airport for your departure

6 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari

Day 1, early morning after breakfast at your guide will meet you at your area of stay/lodge/airport and transfer you to queen elizabeth national park. Stop at the equator, have an equator experiment and later proceed. Have lunch on the way and later proceed to where we expect to reach in the evening. Stay at Buffalo Safari Lodge, kasenyi safari lodge, twinlake lake safari lodge for dinner and over night

Day2: After an early breakfast, we have a full-day game drive where we expect to see animals like the cape buffaloes, African elephants, water backs, warthogs, kobs, bush backs,bush pigs, lions, leopards, heyners, and many more animals. Her we also expect to see birds like the African fish eagles, saddle billed stalks, grey crowned cranes, black heade herons, kitliziz plovers, spur winged lapwing, crowned lapwings, weavers, white backed vultures, laped faced vulture, palm nut vultures, marsh sand pipers, and many more others.

Day 3, early morning after breakfast at our lodge, we shall assemble at kyambura gorgr for the chimpanzee tracking. Here this will take you a day, while you are looking for these giant close relatives to us. After the general briefing at the park briefing point, you will ascend deep in the gorge to trace the movement of the animals. Upon seeing them, the guide will allow to take photos, videos and have a full explanation about these animals. Besides we also have a lot of forest birds like the great blue turacos, ross’s turacos, nihan tragon,and many more animals like the hippos, that occupie the kyambura river which passes through the gorge, buffaloes, elephants, and other monkeys like the baboons, black and white colobus monkeys , vervet monkeys and many more others

Come back for lunch. After lunch, we shall have an afternoon boat ride on kazinga channel that connects the two lake of Edward and geoge, where we expect to see animals like the hippos, kobs, elephants, baboons that come to drink water, buffaloes, crocodiles, vervet monkeys, if possible lions, leopards, water birds like African fish eagles,pied king fisher, malachite king fisher, Egyptian goose, black crake, little egrets, black winged stilts, papyrus gonolek and many others

Come back for dinner and over night at the same lodge

Day 4, have another half-day game drive and later proceed to katwe salt mining lake. This community lake mining will leave you have an experience of the social interaction of the local Ugandan people with relation to the prevailing natural salt mine. It possible we shall have the crater drive of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stay at the same lodge

Day 5, Proceed to amabere ga nyinamwiru, literally meaning the breasts of nyinamwiiru. Have the social interration with the batooro people. Visit some fort portal craters as well. Later you will proceed to Semuliki Valley National Park where expect to see the hot springs of both male and female hot springs. Come back to Fortportal town for dinner and overnight

Day 6. Departure back to our respective home/airport
