Day 1: Chimpanzee Trekking in Ngamba Island

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa for Rhino Tracking  – proceed to Murchison Falls Park

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Chimpanzee Trekking in Ngamba Island

Wake up in the morning and drive to Entebbe where you will board a boat ride to the Ngamba island where it will take you. This will take 45 minutes to 1 hour until you reach the island. Here you will be able to see chimpanzees on the island, be able to learn or study about these chimpanzees, have lunch on the island and many others

Come back to our lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa for Rhino Tracking  – proceed to Murchison Falls Park

Day 2, early morning after breakfast, you will start you day travel to Ziwa rhino Sanctuary. Here you will be able to have a walk to these strong giant endangered animals of the Big five of Africa. This area sanctuary possesses other animals like the black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, roth’s child giraffes, zebras, warthogs, water backs, bush backs and many other animals.

After you will proceed to the Murchison Falls National Park. This park is Uganda’s biggest national park that is separated by the Nile River, and having different vegetational types of savannahs, woodland and tropical rain forest. Entering through the southern gate of kicumbanyobo, you will expect to see animals like the olive baboons, vervet monkeys, elephants, buffaloes, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, red-tailed monkeys and many more animals that hide in this forest reserve of Budongo that is concentrated to Murchison falls.

After we proceed to the top of the falls, which is the Nile River that flows, forcing its self in a narrow gap of 8 meters and drops to a 45meters down cliff. This provides a stunning view and magnificent scenery that will leave you how God molded this country to be the pearl of Africa

Day 3: Game Viewing & Boat Cruise –Transfer to Kibale Forest park

Early morning after breakfast we shall wake up for a morning game drive within the savannahs of Murchison Falls National Park, here we expect to see animals like the water backs, warthogs, oribis, vervet monkeys, patas monkeys, Kobs, Roth’s child giraffes, African elephants, hyenas, jackals, African cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, olive baboons, jackson’s heart beasts, and many other bird species. The game drive will take you around 3-4 hours and after, you will go for a boat ride at 11:00am. On the boat, expect to see schools of hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and many other above-mentioned animals that come to drink water during a hot weather of the day. After the boat ride you will drive directly to Kibale Forest National Park, stay at guereza safari lodge, Kibale Forest Camp, chimpundu, Kibale Forest Lodge, Kibale Guest Cottages

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi wetland walk

Early morning after breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for the briefing about chimpanzee tracking and the park history and animals within the park. This park has many animals like the African elephants, buffaloes, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, red colobus monkeys, grey cheecked mangabeys, olive baboons and many other bird species, reptiles, different plant species, funs, butterflies and moths. Here you will be allocated to the guide who will introduce to you the 2 armed rangers that provide you security about the aggressive animals that you might come across in the field by scare shooting. This activity takes half a day thus expecting to come back early for lunch.

After lunch you will have a swamp experience which take around 2-3 hours. On the swamp you expect to see a number of monkeys like the black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, red tailed monkeys and many more animals that you might have missed while on your walk in the forest.

After the swamp walk, you will visit the coffee queen, who will take you around the coffee planning and processing, banana man who helps in making different types of banana like banana gin, banana juice, and banana bear. After we visit the women dancing group that will give us a good show of the cultural dance, weaving and displaying different art facts

Alter we shall come came back to our lodge for dinner and over night

Day 5: Transfer to Ssempaya Watersprings & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

We shall wake up in the morning and proceed toto sempaya hot spring, here we shall visit the hotpring which is located deep in the southern western part of the country in semuliki valley national park. This area is 3-4 hours away from our area of stay. Here you will visit both the female and male hot springs and see or experience how hot some parts boil beyond the boiling point and the as well as cold and warm water. This park is also a bird watching area with some endemic birds that occupy the area from Congo basin and Congo river.

After the experience, we shall visit Amabere ganyinamwiru literary meaning the breasts of Nyina Mwiru. These stalagatites and stalagmites / Breasts of Nyina Mwiru have a historical attached back ground of the Toro Kingdom that help to explain to you how Ugandan people of that area are much attached to their culture. Later have lunch and after we proceed to queen Elizabeth national park. Stay at king fisher, twin lake safari lodge, Kasenyi safari camp, elephant plains, Enganzi safari lodge

Day 6: Lion Tracking & Evening Launch Cruise

Today, we shall wake up in the morning, after a breakfast and gather at the park gate for the lion experience. Here we shall track different prides of lions, leopards and this will also help us see other animals like the African elephants, African cape buffaloes, Kobs, water backs, warthogs, bush backs, bush pigs, hyenas, and many others. Come back at our lodge, and later proceed for an evening boat ride. this boat ride activity is done on the bog water body that connects between Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you expect to see schools of hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards and many of the above-mentioned animals that come to drink water during a hot weather of the day. The activity will take us 2-3 hours and later come back to our lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Departure

Day 7, we shall wake up for breakfast and later depart back to our area of stay or home
