This 6-day Uganda gorillas & wildlife safari encounters a lot of wildlife gorillas and chimpanzees and other primate tracking. We shall go through Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks. However, it also involves community visits and pygmy/Batwa people who used to live in the forests and were just evicted forest in 1991 to live and interact with the communities so that they can benefit with social life education, good health since in the forest they used to treat themselves with local forest herbs, no education and lived on hunting animals, gathering honey, and other essentials that could support them in the forest/wilderness

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Day 1, upon your arrival you will be met by our company representative who is a guide that will take you through your travel plan and how the trip will be. After he/she will drive you to southwestern Uganda through fortportal-mubende, passing through the green lushes of plantations and big tea estates towards the Rwenzori mountains/mountains of the moon. The distance will take you around 6 hours, through the beautiful sceneries expecting to reach around lunch time thus having lunch at the lodge you will stay at. Stay at turaco tree tops, guereza, kibale forest lodge, kibale forest camp
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & Community Visit
Today wake up in the morning after breakfast and assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about the park. After the briefing, you will be separated in small groups of not more than 9 people and be allocated to the ranger guide who will guide you to the forest and also be allocated to 2 armed rangers that will be carrying guns that help to scare shoot incase you meet animals like forest elephants, African cape buffaloes and many others. The tracking will take half a day thus expect to come back at our lodge for lunch,
After lunch you will go for a community visit where you expect to engage in community food cooking, visiting the banana man that makes banana gin, banana juice, and banana bear. Visit the coffee queen who will help take you through coffee planting and growing to cupping. If time permits, we shall make sure that we visit or do the swamp walk where we expect to see animals especially primates like vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, red colobus monkeys, olive baboons and many other animals like sometimes hippos that visit the swamps regularly, sitatungas, and many other animals
Come back at the lodge/hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Boat cruise at Kazinga Channel
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take 2-3 hours. Reaching around mid day at the equator in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have an equator experience, and take beautiful photos and videos and later proceed until we reach around midday for the boat ride on Kazinga channel
The channel connects the 2major lake of lake Victoria and lake George. This park in the second largest national park in Uganda that harbors around 97 species of animals and 600 species of birds. Here you will see animals like African elephants, cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, water backs, warthogs, bushbacks, forest hogs, bushpigs, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, hippos, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus, red tailed monkeys, small animals like the rodents, hyraxes, mangoos and many others. However on the boat you will see a schools of hippos in and outside the water, number of old buffaloes that use the water as death points, and many more other above-mentioned animals that come to drink water.
The channel also possess a lot of birds like the yellow-billed storks, greater and lesser pelicans, black crake, saddle-billed storks, African jacana, marsh sand pipers, Egyptian goose, spur winged lapwings, African fish eagles, pied king fisher, malachite kingfisher, pigmy kingfisher, papyrus king fisher, sacred ibis, hadada ibis, little egrets and many others. Come back to our accommodation for dinner and overnight
Day 4: Lion tracking & transfer to Bwindi Forest Park
Day 4, wake up early morning for lion tracking experience, here you expect to /visit different prides of lions, see leopards and also see other animals like buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, water backs, warthogs, and many more. After the lion tracking /game drive, we will drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park for gorilla tracking. Stay at mahogany springs, buhoma lodge, gorilla leisure, 4 gorilla lodge
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa pygmy experience
Wake up in the morning for gorilla tracking. Here after breakfast, we assemble at the park headquarters for gorilla tracking. Here we shall women dancing experience/ entertaining as you prepare yourselves for the general briefing. After you will be given the brief history about the park and where you will again be grouped in a small group of not more than 8 people and lake proceed in the forest to find out where these animals are located. After meeting them, you take videos, photos and enjoy their social life. Later you come back from the forest.
Have a Batwa/ pigmy experience and later proceed to lake mburo national park for dinner and overnight. Stay at Hayner hill lodge, kigambira safari lodge, eagles nest safari lodge.
Day 6: Departure
wake up for one of Uganda’s smallest national parks, for a nature walk. This will help you engage in seeing animals like Roth’s child giraffes, African plain zebras, African cape buffaloes, water backs, warthogs, topis, elands, impalas, baboons, and many more animals like bush backs.
After the walk, we shall proceed to kampala or to the airport for depature
